I Started a Snail Mail Club in a Digital World... Here's Why
A few months ago, a short vacation gave me something I didn't realize I had been missing: the space to reconnect with my creativity. What started as a chance to slow down and recharge quickly grew into the motivation to finally launch a project I'd been dreaming about for nearly a year.
That's how The Rusty Rocker was born.
Originally, I imagined The Rusty Rocker as a place to sell vintage and thrifted treasures. And while you'll still find the occasional unique piece on my website, I've discovered that what truly excites me isn't the selling. It's the searching. It's the stories hidden behind forgotten objects, the adventures of finding them, and the people and places encountered along the way.
I'm a mom, a wife, a graphic designer, and an artist, and storytelling has always been at the heart of everything I create. That's why The Rusty Rocker is evolving into something much bigger than a vintage shop. It's becoming a place for stories, art, road trips, creative inspiration, and meaningful connections.
One of the projects closest to my heart is Letters From the Road. For as long as I can remember, I've loved writing and receiving old-fashioned letters. In a world dominated by social media and instant communication, there's something special about opening your mailbox and finding a heart-written piece of someone's life waiting inside.
In my newest video, I share the story behind The Rusty Rocker, the inspiration for Letters From the Road, and why I'm choosing to slow down, create more, and connect in a more personal way.
Whether you're here for vintage finds, storytelling, art, travel adventures, or a little nostalgia, I'm so glad you've found your way here.
🎥 Watch the video above and join me as I begin this new creative journey.
Thank you for being here.
